Perhaps
you might know about Stefan Esser, who known as i0n1c in jailbreak community.
He has released a video showing an iOS 8.4 jailbreak (beta 1) on iPhone 6 Plus.
Jailbreak experts have confirmed it. The video gone viral around the world and
prospective jailbreak fans are waiting for iOS 8.4 jailbreak soon. Most
of the iOS device owners are prefer to jailbreak, but Apple Company is always
wanted to prevent it by releasing minor and major updates to iOS 8. Their
latest release is iOS 8.4.
Jailbreak iOS 8.4 untethered
i0n1c has successfully done iOS 8.4 beta 1 jailbreak. It clearly shows that, there are some more
vulnerabilities in iOS 8.4 also, which could be used to develop an iOS 8.4
jailbreak. I0n1c has announced that he won’t release it to the public. You may
think, then what is the use of showing it by a video. Do not think that way, it
will encourage the TaiG and Pangu teams to develop and release iOS 8.4
jailbreak very soon.
iOS
8.3 also brought another patch for jailbreak exploit of TaiG team. So far no
announcement on iOS 8.4, regarding patching exploits. However, Apple might have
try to make difficult to develop iOS 8.4 jailbreak.
As
you all know, jailbreak tools cannot produce easily. It is a very difficult
process. Therefore, TaiG or Pangu team will take some time to produce iOS 8.4
jailbreak in near future. Both the teams have already confirmed that they are
working on iOS 8.4 jailbreak, but haven’t said about the release date of it.
i0n1c
has released a proof of jailbreak concept for iOS 8.4, by showing jailbroken
iPhone 6 Plus running iOS 8.4 beta 1 on it. All new Music app, Apple Watch
companion app and emoji keyboard are the proofs for iOS 8.4 beta 1.
i0n1c
also said that iOS cannot get rid of vulnerabilities. Only it can minimize the
number of security flaws. Jailbreak teams have to find some vulnerabilities and
produce an iOS 8.4 jailbreak. He said the exploit he has used is in the code
virtually forever. And no one has detect it earlier. It is a very important
clue for jailbreak teams. Isn’t it.
Though iOS 8.3
includes 39 security fixes, Apple doesn’t declare what are the security fixes
in iOS 8.4. Since i0n1c has not release his iOS 8.4 jailbreak to the public,
Apple cannot identify what is the exploit he used for it. So Apple won’t able
to patch it in final iOS 8.4.
